Introduction to TCC  (The Construction Coach)
Our Purpose:   "We exist so that you may relax..."
Building a home in Mexico is a big, stressful financial investment. How do you monitor quality and progress from a long distance? The Construction Coach (TCC) works directly for you as an un-biased 3rd party agent with Power of Attorney to document your project and to make things happen! We are experienced construction professionals (see "TCC Staff"), and we provide three (3) essential services...

  • Service #1 - Custom Homebuilding:  TCC is rapidly becoming known as "The Value Custom Homebuilder" in the Loreto area. We are now a General Contractor building custom homes in Nopolo, Loreto, and other nearby areas. We can use your design from any Architect, or we can hire the Architect and produce a complete set of custom home plans for you at a very reasonable design cost. Please call to discuss your options, and to arrange for project price estimates.
  • Service #2 - Construction Inspections: Travelling to Loreto for your inspections is time consuming, inconvenient and expensive. Working with TCC, you have a dedicated team of seasoned professionals to inspect, verify, and document every detail of the project on your behalf, both during and after construction. Even better, our cost is a small fraction of your travel cost for an equal level of scrutiny!
  • Service #3 - Construction Consulting: In construction, always expect the unexpected. In the event of issues that require advocacy, design interpretation, issue specific management, mediation, coordination, scheduling, expert opinion, or any of a thousand other things that can throw a construction project into a "tail-spin"… TCC is onsite to act as your direct representative.
Our Promise:   Meticulous Attention to Detail & Inspection Accountability
A new home is an amazingly complex machine, with approximately 5,000 individual parts and many thousands of square feet of surface area. Your contractor got 2 or 3 years to build it. You hire TCC to spend a few hours inspecting it.

Every TCC Inspector is a construction professional, who has done many hundreds of inspections. Inspecting is a scientific skill acquired through much painstaking experience and education. Regardless, you may come in and find something that was "missed"... maybe a chip of paint missing, a missing towel rack, or a small scratch on a window that you see only when lit by the sun.

If we insisted on absolute perfection, we would have to charge you for MANY more hours of inspection time. Our fees are a very good compromise between time commitment (cost) and quality of inspection. TCC does not promise perfection.

What we do promise is that in our inspections, TCC will catch ALL of the important things that make your home beautiful and functional. This is much more difficult than it may seem. If TCC misses something significant which is non-warrantable, then we will take responsibility for having it repaired. That, my friend, is true accountability.

Join Us For Your Inspection!
We strongly encourage homeowners to join us for inspections. The more eyes looking, the better the result. We must ask, however, that you do not distract the Inspector. We need absolute laser-like focus to produce the best possible inspection within our time budget. Clients who join us for inspections, who actually experience the process, rave about TCC and our meticulous attention to small details!
